My parody is based on the trailer for Star Wars: Return of the Jedi because I love Star Wars, and I already had several items and props that worked perfectly for recreating it humorously. I reinterpreted the source both visually and conceptually by taking the serious and epic tone of the original film and recreating it with everyday objects and lighthearted acting. Instead of relying on high-budget effects, I used simple, accessible props and exaggerated gestures to highlight the contrast between the original’s scale and my version’s playful, homemade feel. From this process, I learned that it takes time and creativity to bring a vision to life. At first, I wasn’t sure if my idea would work, but as I experimented and filmed, I saw how my concept came together successfully.
