This is me

Katie Kersch is here! I’m completing a major in Graphic Design and am a multimedia artist with more than two years of professional experience and a strong background in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, including Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Photoshop, and more. I enjoy transforming ideas into visually engaging designs that connect, inspire, and sometimes even surprise. My creative work spans graphic design, photography, and animation, and I’m always excited to experiment with new ways of bringing ideas to life.

Born and raised in Yerington, Nevada, I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside my family at our graphic design company, Studio 33. That experience has taught me how to balance creativity with practicality—designing work that is not only visually compelling but also effective and purposeful.

Beyond my professional work, I’m passionate about digital art, staying active, and advocating for animals in need. I believe in the importance of hard work, authenticity, and following your passion, and I strive to carry those values into every project I take on.

I draw inspiration from my own journey, shifting from an animal-focused career to one in design has shown me the power of following what feels authentic. That perspective influences my work, reminding me that design is not just about visuals, but about connection, storytelling, and impact. Ultimately, I want my art to inspire viewers to pause, reflect, and engage, while also encouraging them to embrace their own creativity and passions.

My artistic practice centers on combining creativity with communication to craft designs that are both visually striking and meaningful. I enjoy working across multiple mediums: graphic design, photography, and animation, while using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects to bring ideas to life. Whether I’m creating a logo, designing layouts, or developing motion graphics, my goal is always to make work that resonates with people and leaves a lasting impression.
